Our first pool party of the year! Meet an extraordinary type of a birthday party that you’ll never seen before. Full of laughter, sparkles like a splash of water in sunlight.

Here’s a little story about the birthday party :

She’s our own sister, so we helped to accomplish everything that she needs for her party. Just name it, we know everything. But, we still want Amanda to decide everything by herself and take parts for her very own party. She chose her own invitation, backdrop, and canvas design.. Managed what to wear, went to the market with us to buy everything that we need, and discussed with the videographer. She’s 17 afterall, legally an adult!

On December, we were still discussing about having an outdoor or indoor party. Momo keeps on telling Manda to have an unordinary party, held it in the pool and make it casual just like she wanted it to be ( she doesn’t really like to be the center of attention ). Finally everyone agreed to have a pool party. And there it is, our first pool party this year!

After we decided to have a pool party, now the thing that we all worry about is the rain. What will happen if it rains on the D-day? Well, we asked Amanda to pray long before the D-day and thanks God.. it didn’t happen.

Amanda is the first person that held this kind of pool party among her friends. So she’s worried if her friends aren’t enjoying her party or they don’t want to get into the pool to play the games and so on. But turns out, they had so much fun and they enjoyed it really much!

After the party, Amanda told us what her friends had said to her. Here are some of their copied sentences : “Man tahun depan lagi ya” ; “Ini sweet 17th antimainstream sumpah” ; “Ini petjah abis sih Man” 😂 …and she was very happy & relieved after hearing all of those from her friends & that’s what made us happy too.
